What is RunningWithAI

RunningWithAI is an educational and training platform for amateur runners that brings together two things that usually stay separate: the science of running training and modern advances in artificial intelligence. Instead of handing you a generic plan downloaded from a PDF, we use proven periodization algorithms (based on Daniels, Pfitzinger and peer-reviewed literature) combined with real data from your runs to give you training recommendations that evolve with you.

The site has four main components. An educational blog with 100+ articles in Portuguese and English on training, sports nutrition, recovery and running technology — all written and reviewed by a real runner. Free tools like the pace calculator (with splits, race predictions using the Riegel formula, and a Race Day Planner) and the recipe builder with macros calculated in real time for pre-run, post-run and race-day meals. Adaptive training plans — the first is a free 8-week 5K plan tailored to your current level. A gamified dashboard with 10 levels, 21 badges and city/country/global rankings to keep you motivated.

Editorial philosophy: we prioritise evidence-based content, not viral trends. All health-related articles carry a medical disclaimer and cite sources (studies, reference books, official guidelines). The platform fully respects GDPR, LGPD and CCPA: we do not sell data, we do not do advertising profiling outside the site, and you can delete your account and data at any time. Available in 7 languages (European Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian), works on mobile and desktop, and the base account is 100% free.

Who we are: a small team led by Coach Carlos, an amateur runner with years of hands-on experience in 5K, 10K and half-marathon racing, supported by modern AI tools we use as editorial assistants — never as a substitute for human thinking.
